Dylan Leon Saint Steen, 40, passed away unexpectedly on September 12th at home in Madison, WI.
His final day with us he was grilling hot dogs for his daughter, planning a weekend of outdoor activities, and a movie night with his family.

Dylan was born on October 16, 1978 in Duluth, MN.
As a boy, Dylan was a quick study. Too fat to walk and too stubborn to crawl Dylan had to tell people what he wanted, by starting to speak in complete sentences at nine months old. He was so chubby in fact that during a visit to the Summit Avenue living Coop (where Dylan was the unofficial mascot and most popular member, from 6 months to 5 years of age) the Dalai Lama rubbed his belly and said he looked like the baby Buddha. Dylan loved flying around in small aircraft with Willy, camping, conversing with adults, and snuggling with his mom, Sharron.
Dylan was a great older brother, fiercely protective of both Hilary and Gareth, all while being gentle and supportive during tough times in their lives.
In his teen years, Dylan was a great and successful
snowboarding enthusiast, winning many Wisconsin regional
competitions at Tyrol Basin, competing on the US National
Junior team in Finland, and winning, in US National Championship
Halfpipe competition, a Bronze Medal when 14 years old
and a Silver Medal when he was 17. As he grew up Dylan developed a lifelong love of skateboarding, snowboarding, art, and photography, with his unique style showing throughout. Dylan was and is memorable to all that knew him. He burned bright and hot, a passionate man, who left us too early.

He is survived by his young daughter (Azeeza Danger Saint Steen) and her mother (Penny Saint Steen)
Parents (Sharron Saint John and Willy Becker)
His siblings (Gareth Becker and Hilary St.John and their spouses (Nicole Becker and Oliver Messing)
His infant niece (Hazel Becker)
And many other family members and friends
The great love of his life was his 9 year old daughter, Azeeza. He also loved his friends, especially the mother of his daughter (Penny) .
Skateboarding, fishing, snowboarding, biking, art, and photography. Dylan excelled at everything he tried.

One of his many friends that contacted us after his death said “he was a f***ing legend!“

In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to his daughter’s educational fund:
