Madison/Oregon – Thomas “Tom” L. Lynch, age 85, passed away on May 28, 2019. He was born July 26, 1933 in Madison, to Leo and Myrtle Lynch. After graduating from Central High School, he enlisted in the Army. After returning from Germany Tom worked at Bowman Dairy. He then began his career as a Journeyman plumber working for J.F. Ahern and the University of Wisconsin until his retirement.

Tom was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Plumbers Local #167. He was a Badgers and Packers fan, and an avid golfer as a member of Evansville Country Club. He got the most joy from watching his grandchildren play sports.
Tom is survived by his five children, Karen (Mike) Gardner, Cindy (Keith) Lynch, Jane Lewis, Julie Lynch and Kevin (Diane) Lynch; grandchildren, Sarah Gardner, Kelly (Andrew) Wohler, Megan (Aaron) Robison, Gregory (Maggie) Gardner and Hannah Gardner; Courtney Lewis, Ashley Lewis, Randey Lewis and Lily Lewis; Sam Lynch and Max Lynch; great-grandson, Michael Wohler; siblings, Mary (Harold) Lanzendorf and Shirley Heise; sister-in-law, Jill Lynch; good friends, Brian Teidt and Pat Elliot; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Donna (Matty) Mathison, Carol (Alan) Miller, Bob (Donna) Lynch, and Joe Lynch; and granddaughter Bailey Lewis.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 10, 2019 from 5:00-7:00pm at the Evansville Country Club, 8501 Cemetery Road, Evansville, WI.
