Frank had a passion for cars. As a young adult you could find Frank at his dad’s house wrenching on cars. Frank’s love of cars led him to open his own business in 1989. You would find Frank in the office of his car lot during the day wheeling and dealing with customers and in the garage at night working on the car he’d hope to sell next. Frank loved going to auctions. He had a gift when buying used cars to resell. Frank’s second love was food. You could find him in restaurants around Beloit several times a day. He loved to eat and shoot the breeze. Frank always offered food and drinks to customers and friends who came to his car lot to chat. He was a great host.
Frank is survived by his daughters, Nicole Maukstad, and Francheska Gleichsner both of Beloit; siblings, David (Marlene) Gleichsner, Theresa (Roger) Stone, and Roger Gleichsner all of Beloit; mother of his daughters, Rhonda Maukstad of Beloit; niece, Luvina (Rich) Rice of Beloit; special friends, The Stankewitz Family, Audrey Dygart, Abe Siverhus, Jack Rocky, Dave Scott, Greg Persons, Bill Bue, Burt Burg and many more. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Frank’s family would like to send a huge Thank You to the Beloit Memorial Hospital staff in the Cardiac Intensive care unit for their around the clock care and Dr. Leo for doing everything he could to help Frank get well.
